We Can Make Difference Together

Let’s champion equality, dignity, and justice.

Today, December 10th is an official Human Rights Day. It’s celebrated throughout the world. But there are so many counties in the world, now in the year of 2023, that don’t have or are not allowed to have that and in so many counties it’s considered a privilege.

Countries like mine - Belarus. Where Human rights don’t exist and simple things like freedom of opinion and expression are completely demolished and taken away from people. People are put to jail just for using their voice, for having a different opinion, for liking or reposting pictures on Instagram.

As of today “officially” (but these numbers are way bigger) in Belarus more than 1500 political prisoners. Not because they have committed any crime, because they used their voice. I want you to hear me clearly- USED THEIR VOICE! One of the main basic human rights that every person in the world is entitled to! These people don’t just spend time in jail, they are continuously being put through torture. You asked me how I know. I went through it myself.

So today, let’s reflect on the fundamental rights that unite us all. Continue using your voice and advocating for others even when you feel like your voice doesn’t matter, or you feel that you can’t make a difference. I’m here to tell you: YES YOU CAN! Using your voice - is one of the most powerful things each and every one of us has!

Let us stand up for the equality, dignity and justice of every person. We may think that this does not concern us, but believe me, it is just a matter of time. Let's stand up for justice, equality and dignity for everyone! Together we can make a difference. Together we can create a world where everyone can enjoy their rights.
