Loboda Refers To Pugacheva And Galkin’s Act Revealing Their Position On War In Ukraine As Daring

The Ukrainian singer emphasized that she respected the couple even more.

The popular Ukrainian singer Svitlana Loboda, who toured the Russian Federation before the war, spoke about her Russian colleague Alla Pugacheva, who emigrated from the occupying country after the start of a full-scale invasion.

In an interview with the BBC Russian Service, Loboda admitted her immense respect for Alla Pugacheva and her husband Maksim Galkin, who did not accept Putin’s policy towards Ukraine and left the country, leaving their home in the Moscow region.

The Ukrainian singer, who was banned from performing in the Russian Federation, said that after the act of Pugacheva and Galkin, she respected them even more as “intelligent and big-hearted people.” She also added that the departure of the Prima Donna from the Russian Federation says much more about Russia than her many months of eloquent silence about the war.

“In their family, Maksim speaks, and Alla Borisovna has already suffered a lot for all this...” said Loboda.
