Ukrainian Drones Attack Airbase In Lipetsk Region

Strikes against Ukraine are being carried out from this airfield.

During the night of December 17, explosions occurred in Lipetsk region of Russia. The occupiers reported "successful" work of air defence and "destruction" of dozens of drones. However, it later became known that the explosions took place on the territory of a military airbase. This information was confirmed by sources in the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. This is reported by OBOZ.UA.

During the massive drone attack on Russian territory, the explosions occurred on the territory of the airbase in Lipetsk region. The occupiers said that a "downed" drone exploded at the military facility and added that "there was no damage or casualties".

It is worth noting that the occupiers are engaged in training of flight and engineering staff at this facility, namely at the 4th Centre for Combat Application and Retraining of Flight Personnel, and also develop methods of combat application of aviation complexes.

The AFU Air Force Command said that the Russian occupation army attacks Ukrainian cities in the eastern direction from this airfield.
