Peskov's Wife Openly Confronts Kremlin

The woman refused to recognize Pugacheva and Isinbayeva as “traitors”.

Tatyana Navka, the wife of Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, attracted the attention of Russian society, in particular with her comments about two personalities — Alla Pugacheva and Elena Isinbaeva, reports dialog.ua.

Instead of supporting the general opinion of “betrayal,” as is customary among Z-patriots, Navka refused to list them as “traitors to the Motherland,” contrary to “party policy.”

Navka stood up for Pugacheva and connected her departure from Russia with “following her husband Galkin.”

Galkin also became the subject of discussion due to his active civic position and open statements that do not always correspond to the current political line of the Kremlin.

She did not accuse the Russian athlete Isinbayeva of betrayal either, calling her a “sincere person” who could have “simply expressed herself poorly”.

The two-time Olympic champion from the Russian Federation tried in every possible way to distance herself from ties with the Russian authorities and even deleted photographs about joining the Putin Team propaganda movement. She partially managed to prove her “neutrality”, for which she was not expelled from the IOC commission.

Thus, Peskov’s wife decided to reassure the turbo-patriots, emphasizing the need to separate personal life and the right to free opinion, regardless of the public status.

Peskov himself, during one of the Diva’s visits home, stated that he personally was “very glad to see her,” and even kissed the artist’s hand. He saw nothing reprehensible in the movement of Russian citizens between countries.

Previously, Navka spoke out in favor of the participation of “neutral” athletes from Russia at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, despite demands not to support Putin’s so-called “special military operation”.
