Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny received an autographed T-shirt from the famous Argentine striker Inter Miami Lionel Messi.

A photo of the gift was posted on Facebook by the famous Kharkiv philanthropist Yuriy Sapronov.

Sapronov admitted that when he was in Miami, with the help of the club’s Ukrainian legionnaire Serhiy Krivtsov, he was able to get to training and meet with the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner. It became an overwhelming task for Leo to write the name of the Ukrainian general, so he limited himself to the laconic inscription “Valery”.

In response, Messi received a copy of the Times magazine with Zaluzhny on the cover, which was signed by the main character of the material.
