AFU Destroy Russian Landing Ship 'Novocherkassk'

The Russian vessel may have been carrying Shahed drones.

On the night of December 26, heavy explosions occurred in the city of Feodosia, in temporarily occupied Crimea, accompanied by a fire in the port. The AFU hit a Russian landing ship, New Voice reports.

Commander of the AFU Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk said that the AFU hit the large landing ship Novocherkassk.

"Thanks to the pilots of the Air Force and all involved for filigree work. Put on your trousers and leave our Crimea before it's too late," he said.

"Residents of Feodosia report loud explosions over the city. Preliminarily the air defence system is working," reports the Shot Telegram channel.

It is noted that local residents heard several explosions in the harbour area, after which columns of smoke appeared in the sky.

Also the occupation authorities temporarily blocked traffic on the Crimean bridge.

The Crimean Wind Telegram channel admits that the ship may have been carrying Iranian Shahed drones. However, it could not pass through the Bosporus in accordance with the Montreux Convention, but could bring them from Novorossiysk.
