Strike At Bay In Feodosiya: In Addition To 'Novocherkassk' Landing Ship Another Vessel Sinks

Satellite images have been published.

The first satellite images of the large landing ship "Novocherkassk" destroyed by the strike that took place in Feodosia in the temporarily occupied Crimea on Tuesday, December 26, have been released. This was reported by the Schemes investigative journalist project.

On the photos from Planet Labs, which appeared at the disposal of journalists, it can be seen that as a result of a strike by the AFU tactical aviation, in addition to "Novocherkassk" another vessel sank partially.

According to Radio Svaboda, this is the UTS-150 training ship, which can be seen in photos from the port since at least 2007.

For comparison they used a photo of the port in Feodosiya for December 5, 2023.

On the night of December 26, a series of explosions took place in occupied Crimea. The hit of the ship "Novocherkassk" from the Russian Black Sea Fleet by tactical aviation of the Air Force of the AFU was confirmed.

The Kremlin said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been informed of the strike.

Photos of the damaged vessel appeared on social networks. The pictures show only black charred wreckage of the vessel.

Yuriy Ignat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, called the strike on the Novocherkassk the key event of the past night. According to him, the destroyed enemy vessel will join the squadron of the Russian Black Sea Fleet led by the previously sunk flagship Moskva.

There Could Be Up To 2,000 Shahed On Board The "Novocherkassk"

AFU reserve colonel Petro Chernik said on the air of the national telethon that the powerful detonation on the ship "Novocherkassk" was probably caused by the destruction of Shahed attack drones. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces could have lost about two thousand UAVs.
