What was it?
A sunk vessel was found off the coast of Sevastopol in the area of the 35th Coastal battery. Its origin is not known yet.
This is reported by "Crimea. Realii".
As noted by the publication, the find was reported by a local swimmer, who recently performed a dive in the water off the coast of Sevastopol.
The report says that the vessel was discovered in mid-December after on 26-27 November, a strong storm on the Crimean peninsula changed the underwater landscape in the coastal zone.
"I just dived to see what interesting things might be on the bottom, and then after some time I realised that it wasn't a rock below, but something man-made," the swimmer claims.
According to the publication, the metal hull of the vessel suggests its relative modernity.
"However, any identifying marks that could reveal the history of the vessel could not be seen on it," the report explains.
