Political Prisoner Ihar Alinevich Recently Placed In Punishment Cell

Ihar is an activist of the anarchist movement, who was detained when crossing the border of Belarus on the night of October 28-29, 2020. He was charged under a number of articles. As a result, the political prisoner was sentenced to 20 years in a reinforced regime colony.

Later, his sentence was increased and he was transferred to the prison regime in Zhodzina. After that he was repeatedly placed in a punishment cell. Alinevich held a hunger strike as a sign of protest.
