Lukashists Detain Director Of Mercedes-Benz Auto Centre

They have allegedly found "bundles of money in hundreds of thousands of dollars" in the businessman's apartment.

The law enforcers came after the director of the Energia GmbH car centre. His "penitential" video was published on December 7 by a telegram channel close to the State Department for Combating Organised Crime.

The law enforcers made the man say on camera that in 2020 he participated in a rally, which was not banned at the time, and in August of the same year he transferred 1,220 rubles to the solidarity fund.

The propagandists also noted that "bundles of money in hundreds of thousands of dollars" were found at home of the businessman and showed footage of a group of people with white-red-white flags standing in front of the building of the auto centre.

It is not reported what the Minsk resident is accused of, and whether he is currently in custody.
