Situation Radically Changes: Girkin Foretells Important Events In Russian Federation

The country has entered a period of acute instability.

Russia is on the threshold of turmoil, the first signal of which was Yevgeny Prigozhin's failed military mutiny.

This statement was made by Russian saboteur, Chekist Igor Strelkov (Girkin) in an interview given from a Russian detention centre, Dialogue.UA reports.

"The situation has radically deteriorated, the country has entered a period of acute instability," Strelkov said.

He assured that the stability that Putin's regime is trying to demonstrate is only an illusion.

The war against Ukraine has dragged on, and there is no reason to talk about the fulfilment of any of its goals.

There is no reason to expect the ceasefire that the Kremlin dreams of.

"The war has been on for twenty-one months, there is no end to it, (...) no fulfilment of the SMO plans (...) is visible on the horizon, and the pathetic lamentations of officials about readiness for negotiations (...) are a superfluous evidence of this," Strelkov said.

He is sure that Russia will face catastrophe and turmoil ahead.

"There will be no draw (in the war against Ukraine - ed.), and the defeat (...) will lead to a national catastrophe, which by its scale will exceed the damage of the losses that have already been suffered," assures the Russian chekist.

We remind you, Strelkov was arrested this year in July 2023 under the article on "extremism". The reason was that the chekist started to criticise the Kremlin harshly for military failures in the war. Just before his arrest, he reportedly started publicly insulting Russian President Vladimir Putin.
