Britain Imposes Sanctions Against Lukashenka Judges, Prosecutors

17 people have been added to the list.

The UK has announced the expansion of sanctions against Belarusian functionaries. Seventeen people have been added to the sanctions list. These are representatives of the courts, including the Supreme Court, as well as employees of the Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee.

The following people have fallen under the restrictions of the British government:

Sviatlana Bandarenka,

Mikalai Dolia,

Siarhei Epikhau,

Siarhei Hirhel,

Tatsiana Hrakun,

Aliaksandr Karol,

Mikhail Kavaliou,

Siarhei Khrypach,

Anton Kaliaha,

Valiantsina Kulik,

Ihar Liubavitski,

Dzianis Mikusheu,

Piotr Arlou,

Viachaslau Tuleika,

Maryna Zapasnik,

Valiantsina Zinkevich.

The sanctions were imposed for repressions against civil society and democratic opposition and undermining democracy and the rule of law in the country.
