Today, December 9, it became known that the senior coach of the Belarusian national freestyle team, Maxim Gustik, has died, Pressball writes.
The athlete was 35 years old.
Details of the death have not been released.
In 2008, Maksim made his debut at the World Cup. In total, the ski acrobat stood on the podium nine times at the World Cup competitions.
The best achievement in Hustsik’s career was bronze at the World Championships in Austria in 2015.
The freestyler also took part in two Olympic Games: in 2018, he took 22nd place in individual jumps, and four years later he ended up 20th.
