The U.S. President will also address the Russian people.
U.S. President Joe Biden, as part of his visit to Poland next week, will make a statement that he will dedicate to the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. During the address, the American leader also intends to send a signal to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was announced during a briefing by the representative of the White house on national security issues, John Kirby.
Kirby said Biden will deliver a speech in Warsaw on Tuesday, February 21, about how the United States has rallied the world to support the people of Ukraine in defending their freedom and democracy.
Also during his speech, the American leader will make it clear that America will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
"And I suspect you'll hear him address Mr. Putin, as well as the Russian people," a White House spokesman said.
It is worth noting that on the same day, three days before the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, the address of the Russian dictator is scheduled.
