Verdict Against Banki Butlki Bar’s Owner Delivered

Andrei Zhuk, the owner of the Banki Butlki Bar, and his wife Marya Zhuk were charged with participating in the protests. Human rights activists report that the spouses were accused under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of active participation in actions grossly violating public order. Judge Serhei Katser sentenced Andrei to 2.5 years of probation.
Today, the couple published the first joint photo since the arrest.
“Everything in this world is for love! Thanks to everyone who helped our mothers and took care of our children. To everyone who thought of us and sent us encouragement rays and news "outside". We are eternally grateful to you! And infinitely happy, we are at home” Maria Zhuk wrote on her Instagram.
