Feygin: Kadyrov, Prigozhin Have High Chances Of Being Physically Liquidated

An "accidental" artillery shelling could happen.

Mark Feygin, a well-known Russian opposition activist and lawyer with a law license, has stated that neither Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov nor Evgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner PMC, have strong support in Putin's power hierarchy. The lawyer expressed his opinion in an interview with the UNIAN portal.

"I think the situation is escalating with regard to both Prigozhin and Kadyrov. Prigozhin is a complete outsider. In every respect he was, is and will forever remain an outsider for the government apparatus. For nine years he has been in prison, a criminal, an absolute outlaw, and he is engaged not in catering but in war, and he is engaged in a great deal of conflict. Now he has flown to Peter and declares that there should be rallies against the incumbent governor. The incumbent governor is a proxy of Putin and Kovalchuk," he said.

Feygin believes that both Kadyrov and especially Prigozhin have a very high chance of being physically eliminated.

"Therefore, I assume that these people will physically end their lives, not by themselves, but 'forcibly'. With regard to Prigozhin, the chances are even higher of being hit by some 'accidental' artillery shelling or something like that. A missile will "accidentally" destroy him, and then it is up to you to find out who launched it. The situation is no better for Kadyrov. I have the impression that Kadyrov, Prigozhin and Surovikin promised Putin something, but failed to fulfil it. They probably promised: "We will seize Donetsk region!" They could have promised. But they have not done it. And they have not captured Bakhmut. But guessing is an unrewarding business," the oppositionist concluded.
