Dozens of people have lost jobs.

Mass dismissals of employees for political reasons began in Hlubokae, human rights activists report. Human rights activists say that 30 people were fired for disloyalty to the regime in one organization alone.

In particular, they fire not only people who used to go to the rallies, but also those who did not support Lukashenka with their signatures during the presidential nomination, as well as those who expressed solidarity, for instance, by helping to pay fines. The company Hlubokae Electric Networks fired for this.

"In early March, a gala event was held at the Hlubokae House of Culture, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Hlubokae Electric Networks. A few days later, purges on political grounds began in the organization," the human rights activists write.

They say the security services sent the lists of disloyal people to the district enterprises several months ago. But at that time, the management tried to defend their employees. At that time, only a few employees were fired. Now, ideologists at the enterprises were threatened with dismissal. As a result, they had to obey. The milk-canning plant in Hlubokae does not fire people "for political reasons", but they stopped extending the employment contracts to people "on the list".
