US Harshly Responded to Russia After Collision Of Su-27 And Drone Over The Black Sea

US UAVs will continue their flights over international waters.

Russian fighter jets forced down a US Air Force reconnaissance drone in international airspace over the Black Sea. However, this will not prevent from US from further launches of drones. Representative of the US State Department John Kirby made a statement, according to CNN.

"If the message is that they want to deter or dissuade us from flying or operating in international airspace over the Black Sea then that message will fail because that is not going to happen," Mr Kirby said.

He focused on the fact that the US should not ask the Russian Federation for permission to fly in international airspace.

"The Black Sea does not belong to any country. And we're going to continue to do what we need to do for our national security interests in this part of the world. We don't need to go through any kind of check with the Russians before flying in the international airspace," Mr Kirby said.

It is worth noting that the US drone has not yet been found.
