Series Of Blasts Rocked Russian City Of Belgorod

The Russians could hit their own city during the shelling of the Kharkiv Region with the S-300 systems.

On the evening of March 14, loud explosions were heard in the Russian city of Belgorod. Local authorities have already announced that allegedly “three missiles were shot down” in the sky over the region.

There were many blasts in the city that scared the locals. This is reported by Russian media, according to 24 Channel.

The local authorities of the Belgorod Region immediately announced that Air Defence Forces were allegedly operating over the city. In particular, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, the air defence system forced down three missiles over the region.

The head of the district Vladimir Pertsev and Gladkov personally went to the scene.

In the video, which is being spread by Russian Telegram channels, powerful explosions were clearly heard. It's likely that S-300 systems were operating there. Additionally, one of the streets was blocked in the city. Local residents say that there is still a hit. However, the consequences are still unknown. Also, one of the videos provides sounds of the blast that are actually quite loud and it's unlikely to be air defences.

It should be noted that the Russians regularly shell the Kharkiv Region from Belgorod with the help of the S-300s. Therefore, one should not exclude the fact that they could hit themselves since such cases have already happened.

At the same time, residents of Belgorod are already touching the remains of the wreckage with their hands, taking pictures and publishing them online.
