According to local Telegram channels, "something is probably burning" in the area of Velizhanovsky Trakt. The fire is raging near the Zvyozdniy housing estate, UNIAN reports.

According to eyewitnesses, rescuers and forestry guards are working at the scene of fire.

Videos of the large-scale fire are being shared in social networks. In one of them a woman behind the scenes says that the grass is probably on fire. At the same time, the extent of the fire is only growing.

Russian authorities have not yet provided official information on the fire in Tyumen.
