The occasion was a conversation in the dining room of the sanatorium.
A court in Moscow fined a pensioner 40,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting” the RF Armed Forces. She called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “a handsome young man with a good sense of humor”, Meduza reports.
The reason for the case against 70-year-old Olga Slegina was the conversation of a woman in the dining room of the sanatorium. There, Slegina discussed with a native of Odesa how to pronounce the Ukrainian word “palianytsia” properly, and made a compliment to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Three denunciations were written against the woman. Three days later, a man in civilian clothes came to her room and showed “some kind of document”. On the same day, a protocol was drawn up against the woman under the article on “discrediting” the RF Armed Forces. During the interrogation, the security officers convinced Olga Slegina to sign a report in which her words were edited.
The defense plans to challenge the court's decision.
