Minsk OMON Led By Balaba Sent To Military Base In Chechnya

The base is being used as a junction to transfer troops to the front line in Ukraine.

A Minsk OMON (riot police) 'delegation' led by Commander Dzmitry Balaba visited the Russian Special Forces University in Chechnya, according to propaganda media.

It is reported that the Chechen riot police held a meeting with their Belarusian colleagues, and they considered possible areas of cooperation. The local special forces shared their experience of participating in the SMO [the Russian authorities called the war the Special Military Operation - Ed.] in Ukraine.

Representatives of the Minsk OMON also visited volunteers who are being trained at the special forces training center before being sent to Ukraine.

Balaba conveyed greetings to the Chechens from the Minsk OMON. “We are always with you,” he said.
