New South Korean export restrictions against Belarus and Russia come into force on April 28. It's about expanding the list of the goods subject to the export control, which was announced back in February.
If previously 57 entries were subject to export control, there will be 798 from Friday. As of April 28, it will be necessary to obtain a special permit for the supply of goods from the updated list. A total of 741 items have been added to the list.
According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea, industrial equipment, construction machinery, metals, chemical products, cars worth more than $50,000 and their parts, semiconductors, quantum computers, etc. are among the items that will be subject to export controls from April 28.
The ministry's decision does not apply to export declarations issued before April 27.
