Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has published a report on world military expenditure in 2022.

SIPRI experts estimate that the world's military spending rose by 3.7% to $2.24 trillion last year.

The SIPRI database contains estimates of military expenditures of Belarus last year. They amounted to $802.78 million, having increased by 7.86% compared to 2021. Spending reached 1.2% of GDP, which is 0.1 percentage point more than in 2021.
