Russia Hastily 'Cleares' Its Bases In North Crimea

The Russian military has removed its hardware from storage bases in northern Crimea. This is evidenced by data from the MAXAR satellite company, reports dialog.ua.

"Maxar's latest satellite images show that there were tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery at this site," said Brady Afrik, an analyst at the American Enterprise Institute's foreign and defence policy research division.

Some of the hardware and defensive structures that have been built near Medvedivka and across the peninsula are also visible.

Meanwhile, propagandists Olga Skabeyeva and her husband, Russian State Duma deputy Evgeny Popov, are already preparing the Russian population for the victorious march of the Ukrainian armed forces in Crimea.

According to the propagandists' version, the occupiers have already dug dozens of kilometres of trenches, anti-tank barriers and put up the so-called dragon's teeth on the peninsula.

"It will be difficult to storm, but Ukraine will be able to establish fire control over the main roads, which will make the situation on the peninsula unacceptable," Popov said sadly.

He quoted the US military and diplomats, and afterwards spoke about the development of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, the Sapsan missile system, with which the defenders would scorch the invaders from Ukrainian territory.

"The main goal is to destroy the Crimean bridge and destroy all airbases on the peninsula," propaganda seems to have no doubt that the AFU will accomplish the task.
