The most trained brigades lost four thousand men.

As Charter97.org reported, a few days ago the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a powerful counterattack southwest of Avdiivka in the direction of Opytne and Spartak. The Ukrainian army retook its positions and forced the Russian mobilized troops to flee this direction.

Colonel Oleksiy Dmitrashkovskiy of the Joint Press Centre of the Tavrian Direction troops said that Russian troops suffered losses near Avdiivka last week amounting to 4,000 soldiers previously trained in Belarus to reinforce the Avdiivka-Marinka line.

His words are quoted by ISW analysts.

Amid the silence of the official Russian media, the Russian military claims that there was "a very big fight near Avdiivka, which became the last one for many people," reports dialog.ua.

Russian serviceman Andrei Morozov wrote on one of the public pages that the invaders were simply brought to be shot.

The AFU allowed military vehicles with paratroopers to approach, the paratroopers dismounted and went forward.

"The landing force was crashed with mortars and then finished off with small arms, the cars were burned. Nobody returned from the landing troops, Ukrainians took some prisoners, as far as I know. Just targets in a shooting gallery," he wrote.

The occupant claims that "fierce and senseless meat" has been going on for months with Russian soldiers from the 1st, 5th, 100th Brigade and other units "storming" AFU positions near Donetsk, Avdiivka and Marinka.

The invaders are outraged but continue to go on pointless offensives, remaining in the Ukrainian fields as "cargo 200".

In his words, the Russian army is running out of infantry: "No longer 'good infantry' but just infantry in general. Just infantry to hold safely the positions they have. In defence. As a matter of fact, it is almost over. So is the hardware".
