The military revealed the details.
The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence on the territory of another continent again collided with the Wagner PMC and carried out a daring rescue special operation, code-named “The Trojan Camel”. See how Ukraine, thanks to super efforts, led the evacuation of its citizens right from under the nose of Prigozhin's Sudanese cronies and mercenaries, in the TSN story.
Explosions, houses on fire, bloody skirmishes, artillery duels and armored vehicles in the streets, fighter jets in the sky, hundreds of dead. All this about Khartoum — the capital of Sudan.
Many foreigners remained at the epicenter of hostilities, among them were Ukrainians. Most of our citizens worked here as aviation engineers, pilots and flight attendants.
There is no protected American base in Sudan, no aviation, no armored vehicles, and the number of special forces involved is very small, says a participant in the operation with the call sign Yarema.
“We acted independently — without armored vehicles, without aviation, heavy weapons. All our forces are involved at the front,” he admits.
Ukrainian intelligence attracted locals, calculated the safest routes, took advantage of the declared truce and launched a special operation. The mission was complicated by the geographical position of Khartoum — this is the center of Sudan.
The war in Sudan was ignited by Russia. Now there is a confrontation between the regular army, led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the so-called special forces — the Rapid Reaction Forces.
“This special forces was assembled by Muhammad Hamdan Dagal, the richest man in Sudan and a great “friend” of Prigozhin. Together with the Wagner PMC, Dagal seized the largest gold mines in Sudan and created a colossal army of mercenaries, almost equal in number to the Sudanese state army,” the journalists say.
