Belarusian Kalinouski Regiment Volunteers Cannot Evacuate Their Brothers-In-Arms Bodies In Bakhmut

The group commander died, four Belarusians remain under the rubble.

The Kastus Kalinouski regiment reported the death of the group commander and the inability to evacuate the bodies of four more Belarusian volunteer soldiers who held positions in Bakhmut.

This was reported by a representative of the Kastus Kalinouski regiment in the Telegram channel “Kalinouski Regiment”.

“The fighters of the Volat battalion held positions in Bakhmut. Our guys repulsed the attack of the invaders and fought a shooting battle. The house they were in was hit by large-caliber artillery. There was a collapse of the house. Some fighters were under the rubble.

The second group, along with doctors, moved forward to evacuate and help. Four soldiers were left under the rubble without the possibility of their evacuation.

At the time of evacuation and cover for the departure of the group, the group commander died. At the cost of his life, he made it possible to evacuate the wounded.

Later, a third group was sent to clear the rubble and evacuate the bodies of the dead. However, as a result of dense fire during artillery shelling, the building was completely destroyed. The fighting continues. There is no opportunity to carry away the body of the hero of the regiment now,” the regiment said.
