Media: Belarusian Volunteer Yankee Might Be Involved In High Profile Raid Into Russia Territory

The fighter has refused to disclose the details.

As Charter97.org reported, on May 22, fighters of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" announced about another breakthrough of the Russian border in Belgorod region.

The Russian Freedom Legion said that together with the Russian Volunteer Corps it had "completely liberated" the village of Kozinka in Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation, and also entered the village of Grayvoron and began to storm it.

On May 23, Russian volunteers entered the village of Bogun-Gorodok in Borisov district of Belgorod region.

It seems that Ihar Yankou, a famous Belarusian volunteer known by his call sign "Yankee", took part in the raid into Russian territory.

The fighter himself refused to comment to Nasha Niva on his participation in the operation, but a relevant conclusion can be drawn if one looks at the content he publishes on social networks.

Yankee posted a video on his Instagram account of a brother-in-arms who had edited a video of the footage filmed in Russia.

In the video, Yankee is tagged and can also be seen in one of the shots opposite the hardware that was shown in media reports about the events in Belgorod region.
