Judge Katsiaryna Murashka considered the case.

Famous tutor Yevgeny Livyant was sentenced to three years of probation. Radio Liberty reported this with reference to sources. Liviant's case was considered in The Moscow District Court of Minsk by Judge Katsiaryna Murashka.

Probation means that he will live at home, but he has to come for regular registrations and “conversations” with punitive bodies, as well as to attend “educational events” and give explanations. He is also supposed to stay in the evening and at night at the place of his residence, etc.

The sentences of the other defendants in the case are still unknown.

The Moscow District Court of Minsk began to consider a criminal case on participation in the 2020 protests. On May 19, seven people were accused in the case, including a prominent teacher and coach Yauhen Liviant, his wife and children, as well as the management of the 100 Points Center.

Recall, at the end of last year, Minsk coach Yauhen Liviant, the co-founder of the 100 Points Center, was detained. The security officials said that he “participated in blocking traffic and massive disruption of public order” and “made an attempt to seize state power” in 2020. His Сenter allegedly illegally carried out educational activities conspiring with a private school. His wife, daughters, son-in-law and Aliaksei Ivanou, who, together with Mr Liviant, founded the 100 Points Center, were also detained.
