In the city of Shebekino, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, explosions thundered today, on May 29, and then the siren was turned on. The local residents noticed smoke. It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to local Telegram channels.

According to the locals, several explosions thundered in Shebekino. Later, photos appeared on the Internet in which a column of black smoke was visible.

Local publics say that the city and some villages of the Shebekino district came under fire. The residents began to send messages about the shelling, and the siren was turned on in the city.

Later, the internet reported that electricity was partially lost in Shebekino, and explosions intensified in the city.

What preceded this

Shebekino, Belgorod region, is located about 10 km from the border with Ukraine. After the liberation of the Kharkiv region from the Russian invaders, in the Belgorod region they began to accuse Ukraine of shelling and drone attacks.
