Largest Construction Company In Belarus Has New CEO

Recently, MAPID, the largest state-owned developer in Belarus, has changed its CEO. As follows from the information on the company's website, it is Leanid Astreika.

For a long time, Mikalai Milasheuski was the CEO of MAPID, but in February of this year, the website Charter97.org became aware of his detention.

Later, information about him disappeared from the company's website. An acting officer was appointed.

Recently, information about the new CEO appeared on the MAPID website. Leanid Astreika, who had previously been the chief engineer of this enterprise, was appointed CEO.

It is noteworthy that the reason why the major Minsk builder lost their post was not officially reported.
