AFU Break Another Russian Defence Line Near Bakhmut

The southern flank of the occupiers has been collapsed.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have achieved new successes in the Bakhmut direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to improve considerably their positions on the southern flank, reports dialog.ua.

An AFU soldier under the nickname of "Bakhmut Demon" shared the information from the scene on Telegram.

"Another peculiar line of defence has been broken through on the Kleshchyivka direction. It's getting closer," the Ukrainian serviceman wrote.

It should be noted that Kleshchyivka is the southern flank of Bakhmut. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are breaking through not only there, but also in the north, trying to encircle the stronghold.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are also successfully advancing north of the town.

This was reported by a fighter of the 24th AFU Aidar brigade under the call sign of "Osman".

"In the 5th SABr (Separate Assault Brigade of the AFU - ed.) and other brigades have been successful today in the Bakhmut direction. The 68th (the Ukrainian Army Jaeger Brigade - ed.). The stock of prisoners was well replenished. A good day, very good," the serviceman reported on Telegram.

The information was also confirmed from the scene by the Ukrainian soldier "Bakhmut Demon".

He predicts the liberation of the village of Berkhivka, north of Bakhmut, is imminent.

"Berkhivka is only a matter of time. We are moving, pushing them out. Syrsky (commander of the AFU Ground Forces - ed.) has confirmed our advance near Bakhmut. The most interesting things lie ahead. A lot of things are not said officially, wait a little," the AFU fighter said on Telegram.

He clarified that during their advance, the AFU managed to capture many occupants, including PMC veterans and those mobilized.

"The feeling is that the Russians do not have enough reserves of 'regulars' here, and they are stuffing the landings with this 'meat' in order to stop our movement at least a little," the serviceman stated.

The situation for the Russian occupants in Bakhmut is very dangerous.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner PMC, realizing the threat of getting into a "mouse trap", urgently withdrew his fighters from the town and sent them to the rear.

We would like to point out that the advance of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Bakhmut direction has also been officially confirmed by the Ukrainian military command.

In the morning of June 13, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky, commander of the AFU Ground Forces, said on his Telegram: "The defence forces continue the defensive operation in the Bakhmut direction. Our soldiers are advancing, the enemy is losing positions on the flanks".

Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar, for her part, confirmed the Defence Forces' advance of 250 metres in the Berhovske reservoir area. This is the northern flank of Bakhmut.
