Belarusian investors have become leaders in foreign investment in Poland. This is reported in Dziennik Gazeta Prawna with reference to the Polish Agency for Investment and Trade.
Since the beginning of 2023, Belarusian investors have already implemented 12 projects in Poland. They are also planning 33 projects with an investment of €47.99 million. According to the agency, the Belarusian companies intend to create 9,433 jobs. Only American investors have bigger plans in Poland - 35 projects worth €3.4 billion.
Pawel Kurtasz, head of the agency, explained to the publication that the activity of Belarusian investors is the result of the Poland Business Harbour program, which creates favorable conditions especially for relocation of IT-businesses and startups. The PBH was originally created for Belarusian companies, but it was later expanded to other countries.
