Prayers For Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk Held In The Czech Republic

Prayers are held in the evangelical churches of the country.

Today in all evangelical churches of our Czech brothers they pray for the activist of the European Belarus civil campaign Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk and all political prisoners of Belarus, Charter97.org reports.

The text of the prayer says:

“Today in our minds we stand with Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, who is being held in custody by the regime in Belarus, and with many other prisoners in a similar situation.

We pray for the prisoners of conscience around the world: don't let them feel lonely, give them strength and hope, stop those who harm them and awaken their conscience.

We thank all those who extend a helping hand to those who suffer for justice and strive for their release.

Thank you, everyone who opposes violence.”

Earlier, as the Charter97.org website reported, Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk said that she was renouncing her citizenship of Belarus in protest.
