About the real income of doctors in Belarus.
About the real income of doctors in Belarus.
A physician sent a message to the editors of Charter97.org website:
“I am a recent graduate. I’m working in a hospital in one of the districts. There are less than seven thousand people living there. As for my workload, I don’t even fulfil one specialist workload requirements (according to the law, a recent graduate cannot be dismissed).
My monthly income is about BYR 1,200 ($475) after taxes and fees. So, some inspectors came to us again at the beginning of the year. They put it clearly: our monthly income will amount to BYR 2,200 if we work as they expected - 1.5 of workload, additional duties and additional work.
Perhaps, this would work like that in a regional city and when you are young and have no family and full of desire and ambitions, but, alas, I have obligations under my graduate placement.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention the amount of paperwork. It is not included in this workload, but it takes more actual working time than medical work.
