Kremlin 'bohemia' is shocked.
A drone attack of unknown origin on Moscow's most elite district of the Russian capital, Rublevka, came as a shock to Muscovites and the Kremlin "bohemia" who live there. In fact, the incident demonstrated that war may come to Rublevka as well.
This opinion was expressed in an exclusive interview with obozrevatel.com by Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin. "As for Rublevka, in a sense it is like the temple of the Holy Sepulchre of God for the bohemian milieu in Russia, it is a "holy" place. It cannot be tampered with. They all live there. So, of course, they are shocked," he said.
The human rights activist explained how different Rublevka is from other parts of Moscow and Russia in general.
"They say that Moscow is something separate from the rest of Russia. They say the Garden Ring is something completely different from Russia. The Boulevard Ring is something even more distinct than the whole of Moscow than the whole of Russia. But Rublevka is apart from all of that combined."
In Feygin's estimation, the "explosions" in Moscow caused a shock. "Certainly, it caused a shock. We judge by the monitoring of social media, of the public pages, where these sentiments are expressed in one way or another. Some people call them panic, some just talk about a sense of fear, some talk about surprise and uncertainty," he said.
"What if a hundred drones arrive? What if five hundred? This is a purely industrial question - whether Ukroboronprom has these drones in such quantities or not, and whether they are prepared to waste them on Rublevka," the human rights activist suggested.
