Viasna human rights defenders say that the etiquette coach Aksana Zaretskaya felt bad after the verdict. She was hospitalized. The woman spent at least three days in a coma, and after some time, she was returned to Volodarka. Doctors at the pre-trial detention facility did not provide Zaretskaya with proper medical care, not even allowed valerian for her in parcels from her relatives.

Aksana Zaretskaya is an etiquette and business communications coach, a cultural scientist and a master in pedagogy. On 14 March, she was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison under "people's" Article 342 of the Criminal Code. In May, she was taken to Homel penal colony No. 4.
