One Step Away From Overthrow: Russian Propagandists 'Burying' Lukashenka

Negotiations with the dictator's entourage to oust him may be under way.

The Russian media have again raised the topic of possible overthrow of Belarusian dictator Lukashenka.

The propaganda daily of "Free Press" has published the opinion of Andrei Manoilo, Doctor of Political Science and "specialist in information operations", which states that Lukashenka was one step away from being overthrown during the revolution of 2020.

However, the danger for the dictator has not passed, because, according to the Russian "expert", then the protests only "drew" the attention of the regime, while the "operation" to overthrow the dictator is still being developed.

"And in the meantime, US intelligence has already found approaches to someone in his inner circle and is negotiating to oust the head of the current government," the propagandist concludes.

Earlier on, Russian political analyst Dmitri Rodionov stated that the West has "three scenarios for overthrowing Lukashenka".
