Mi-8 From Russia Arrives To Site Of Helicopter Crash Near Baranavichy

An An-148 passenger aircraft has also arrived from Moscow to Machulishchy.

On 22 June, aviation military activity was recorded on the territory of Belarus at the Machulishchy, Baranavichy and Lida airfields. There were recorded flights of Belarusian Air Force and Russian Air Force helicopters, reports the Belaruski Hayun monitoring group.

Intensive flights were recorded on the Lida airfield. The activity is associated with the ongoing flight tactical exercises.

At about 13:30 Russian Air Force Mi-24 helicopter crashed near the M1 highway between Ivatsevichy and Baranavichy (near the village of Liasnaya).

Russian Mi-8 helicopter of Russian Air Force (RF-90399) arrived at the crash site of the Mi-24 from Russia. The aircraft is now at the Baranavichy airfield.

An-148 Russian Air Force passenger aircraft (RA-61733) flew from Moscow to the Machulishchy aerodrome. The aircraft delivered to Belarus an investigation team to investigate the causes of the crash of the Russian Air Force Mi-24 helicopter.

Training flights of Russian Air Force Su-30SM fighters were recorded at the Machulishchy airfield. The fighters took part in flight and tactical exercises with the 116th Attack Aviation Base of the Belarusian Air Force.
