AFU Encircle Russian Paratroopers Near Bakhmut

Ukrainian troops have come close to Kleshchiivka on the southern flank of the Bakhmut direction, destroying several strongholds of the Russian army, dialog.ua reported.
The Ukrainian defence forces, cutting into the flanks, have encircled a unit of the Russian Armed Forces. A company of Russian paratroopers surrendered.
This was reported from the scene by an AFU soldier known under the nickname of "Bakhmut Demon".
"Part of the Russian military forces outside Kleshchiivka has surrendered. There is another part that has communication problems and does not know about it, so they will soon be informed and asked to surrender or die," the serviceman wrote.

He clarified that the complete liberation of Kleshchiivka by the Ukrainian army is only a matter of time.
The position of the Russian contingent there is hopeless, with many of the Russian Armed Forces' strongholds there having been scorched recently.
A soldier of the 24th Aydar assault brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces, call sign Osman, also confirmed this information.
He specified that a paratrooper company of the Russian Armed Forces was encircled.
"A paratrooper company of the Russian Armed Forces has been encircled near Kleshchiivka... There is time to decide before the evening, then the guys will "zero them out". We are confidently moving forward," Osman wrote.
The AFU General Staff reported that Ukrainian defenders were fighting near Razdolivka, Zheleznyanske, Berkhivka, Paraskoveivka, Kurdyumivka and Kleshchiivka.
Analysts from ISW decided to outline the main events in the Bakhmut direction over the past 24 hours.


Russian public pages confirmed fighting near Kleshchiivka and unsuccessful attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces near Berkhivka. Some military correspondents claimed attacks by Ukrainian defenders along the entire front line from Yakivlivka to Kurdyumivka.
Propagandists claim that the occupants of the 106th Airborne Division repulsed counterattacks by the AFU near Soledar.
Geolocation footage from June 26 and 28 showed the Russian army's advance near Dubove-Vasylivka.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army unsuccessfully attacked the AFU near Pervomayske. At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting assault operations to the south of Marinka from the territory of the Zvyrynets fortified area. The 1st Slavyansk brigade of the "DPR" is fighting there.
