Ukrainian Fighters Attack, Take Up New Positions Near Luhansk

The battle lasted 18 hours.

Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine managed to take up new positions in the Luhansk region. The invaders attacked twice, and the battle lasted more than 18 hours.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“The National Guardsmen repulsed the attack of the enemies and entrenched themselves in new positions in the Luhansk region,” the message says.

The Ukrainian military of the 50th regiment named after Colonel Semen Vysochan liquidated 40 invaders, wounded more than 100, and destroyed their equipment.

“Russian troops continued the attack, but the National Guards repulsed the second offensive as well,” the Interior Ministry added.

The battle lasted about 18 hours and included the joint work of different groups, as well as air reconnaissance support and fire correction.

As the Charter97.org website reported earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive in the Bakhmut area and take the Russian troops into the operational “mousetrap”.
