A Russian military airfield was also hit.
As Charter97.org reported, 11 powerful explosions occurred in Berdyansk on Friday morning, June 30. The target of the strikes were military facilities of the Russian army.
The results were officially reported by the AFU StratCom.
"A successful strike by the Defence Forces in the morning of 30.06.2023 hit the occupier's headquarters and fuel and lubricants depot on the outskirts of temporarily occupied Berdyansk," the AFU command said
Another strike hit the Berdyansk military airfield area.
The occupation "authorities" confirmed the strike.
Judging by footage from the attack scene, the airfield was hit successfully and a large fire broke out on the site. It should be noted that according to the Russians, the AFU used Storm Shadow missiles for the strike.
This information is most likely true: the range of these missiles makes it possible to strike the rear facilities of the Russian Armed Forces, including those in Berdyansk.
Agents of the Atesh guerrilla movement were also first to report that today's strike on Berdyansk was effective.
"From an agent of the Atesh movement in the Russian army. The Berdyansk hit got where it was supposed to, there are many 200 and 300," the guerrillas said in a report.
The Atesh later published another message noting that "things are very, very bad for the Russians".
