Propagandist Pegov: AFU Break Into RF Position Near Novodonetske Village

Ukrainian fighters have clamped down on the outskirts of the settlement.

Russian propagandist Semen Pegov reported in the WarGonzo project's telegram channel that heavy fighting has been taking place for the village of Novodonetske in the "DPR" since Monday morning, June 5. It is located midway between Vuhledar and Velyka Novoselivka.

"In fact, the enemy has managed to push at least two kilometres deep into the territory previously controlled by us," Pegov wrote, adding that the Ukrainian military have now clamped down on the outskirts of the settlement.

The war correspondent also noted that the Ukrainian armed forces were actively bringing in reserves.
