President Of South Korea Unexpectedly Arrives In Ukraine

The visit was not announced in advance.

South Korean President Yoon Seok Yeol and his first lady Kim Keon Hee arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit.

It is reported by Yonhap.

According to the publication, which refers to the office of the country's leader, during his visit to Ukraine, Yoon has already visited Bucha and Irpin in Kyiv.

Yoon is also expected to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shortly to discuss further assistance as well as Ukraine's post-war reconstruction.

This visit completes a two-stage trip during which he previously visited Lithuania for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit, and then paid an official visit to Poland.
