Explosions Rocked Crimean Bridge: One Span Collapsed

Explosions rocked the Crimean Bridge early this morning. According to the Crimean "authorities", the incident occurred near the 145th bridge pillar close to the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. The reasons and circumstances of the incident are not specified.

Eyewitnesses saw smoke rising from the bridge and heard a strong blast there. Rail and road traffic on the bridge has been temporarily stopped.

One of the bridge spans collapsed, and another one was damaged and came off the pillar after at least one hit.

A number of Ukrainian media write that it was a surface drone attack on the Crimean Bridge. This is a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy.
