The relatives of the ex-banker Viktar Babaryka have confirmed that he is in the cell-type room. According to the politician's telegram channel, his relatives managed to get an appointment and talk to the administration of the correctional facility No. 1 in Navapolatsk.

During the meeting, the administration confirmed that Viktar Babaryka was in the penitentiary No. 1. He was placed in a cell-type room. It was noted that calls and visits are forbidden in the cell block, but correspondence is available. The colony administration assures that nothing threatens Babaryka's health.

"Neither his relatives nor his lawyer have seen or heard from Babaryka for several months. There are no letters from him, and phone calls have been banned. It is not known why he was placed in the CTR and how long he will remain there. Viktar Dzmitryevich was registered and approved in the list of witnesses in the court on Edward's case. However, he never appeared at the sessions," the message says.
