The Kremlin spokesman was called “an incomprehensible subject”.
Adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhaylo Podolyak responded harshly to the threats of the spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov that Moscow would not be able to guarantee the security of the Black Sea waters if Turkey, the UN and Ukraine continue the grain agreement without Moscow's participation.
As the politician noted on the air of the information marathon, Peskov is an “incomprehensible subject” who speaks bad Russian on behalf of the Russian authorities: in his statement, he publicly declared to the UN and the whole world that Russia would fire on fishing boats in the waters of the Black Sea.
“Who is Peskov? What kind of subject is this? Look, a certain incomprehensible subject comes out, a talking head that speaks very bad Russian, and threatens the global community that there will be risks to civilian ships not in the internal sea of Russia ... Threats that the Russian Black Sea Fleet will deliberately create for them. Well, it seems to me that this statement alone is enough for the subject named Peskov to also receive some serious legal problems,” Podolyak said.
According to him, given such rhetoric, Peskov, along with his wife, should be detained at the very first trip to the territory of the “hostile” West. The world should not allow such “subjects” to insult and threaten the global community with impunity, Podolyak pointed out.
“He came up with a pack of lies, as an official of the Russian Federation, threatened international shipping, as such, and no reaction? So, of course, further this subject will continue to behave in the same way. They did it before the war, they did it during the war, they intend to do it after the war, only from more aggressive starting positions,” Podolyak stressed.
Peskov came up with a threat over the grain deal
In the morning of July 17, a spokesman for Vladimir Putin said that on the last day of validity of the grain agreement with Ukraine, Moscow decided to terminate this agreement.
On the evening of July 18, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that there is no need to sign an agreement with the Russian Federation to export Ukrainian grain. With security guarantees from the UN and Turkey, Ukraine could continue to transport grain to third countries in the world “without Russia”, the leader of Ukraine said.
This caused an inadequate reaction from the authorities of the Russian Federation. In the morning, Dmitry Peskov hinted that in this case, Moscow would not be able to guarantee the safety of ships in waters close to combat zones. He said that without guarantees from Russia, “certain risks” would arise there.
