Maritime Drones Attack Russian Ship Sergey Kotov In Black Sea

Fast moving drones were used against the Russian patrol ship.

The Russian Defence Ministry has announced that the Sergey Kotov patrol ship was attacked tonight in the Black Sea, 370km south-west of Sevastopol.

Two high-speed, unmanned speedboats were used against it.

The Sergey Kotov is the fourth patrol vessel of the 22160 project. It floated out in 2021 and delivered to the fleet last July. Such ships are armed with Kalibr and X35 missile launchers, 76.2 mm cannons, machine guns and Igla-S or Verba anti-aircraft missile systems, and carry a helicopter and several UAVs.
