AFU Destroyed Russian Drones Launching Base

One more Russian position on the front line in the Zaporizhzhia region was destroyed. On the temporarily occupied territory of the Vasilyevsky district, Ukrainian forces discovered and destroyed the site from which the enemy spotter drone operators were acting. In general, Ukrainian fighters are pushing through the enemy’s support line in this direction, Stopcor writes.

On the evening of July 2, a fighter of the National Guard of Ukraine with call-sign Balu published a video of successful strikes on the Russian position for launching UAVs on his channel. He is fighting in the southern direction.

Representatives of the international volunteer community GeoConfirmed geolocated the point where the position of the drone spotters of the enemy was located. We are talking about the area with coordinates 47.497065, 35.50021 in the "red zone" southeast of the de-occupied settlement of Pyatikhatki in the Vasilyevsky district of the Zaporizhzhia region.

As Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Hanna Maliar reported on the morning of July 3, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. They carried out offensive operations in the Novodarivka-Priyutne directions, Novodanilivka-Rabotine and Novosilka-Staromayorske. Ukrainian fighters were successful, during the previous week the liberated territories were increased by 28.4 square km.

According to a military analyst and coordinator of the Information Resistance group Oleksandr Kovalenko, the Russians' supply line in the Zaporizhzhia region is "crumbling and it is completely torn in some places". He noted that the process of levelling the right flank is underway now. Regular troops of the Russian Federation have retreated to the second line from there along the Orlinske-Lyubimшvka-Novozlatopil fortified positions, leaving the mobilized troops and of the Storm detachment troops in the fields.

“The situation is very similar in the Rabotine area. The fate of the settlement may be decided in the coming days, given that nothing seriously stops the Ukrainian forces in this area. The security zone in this direction has been broken and the Russian troops are considering the option of moving to a new line, but there is a feature. In the event of the liberation of Rabotine, at 0408, the invaders will be defeated in Novoprokopivka, Ilchenko and Solodka Balka,” the expert notes.

His colleague, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Konstantin Mashovets predicts that in the coming days, the advanced units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can reach the first positions of the enemy’s main line of defence in the Southern Operational Zone at least in one sector, and within a week - in two more.

Recall that last week there were explosions near Berdiansk: local sources inform about strikes in the area of recreation centers in Primorsk - recently the command of the Akhmat detachment was hit there.
